This is starting to worry me I gave a good friend of ours a Trio from one of my hatches and they have yet to see an egg from either of them. but 6 week younger sister who we gave to another friend has been laying for weeks. is there a problem with their hens. or are they just being very very very stubborn about not producing.

how old are they? With the cold weather it is hard for them to get started. Is there a routine at their new house?

I have the same problem with my ssHamburgs; there were 2 of us that split an order, and only one of mine have just started to lay; the other 2 not yet, while my friends hamburgs started in December. My NakedNecks started sooner than hers did, so, I don't know when, but they will all lay someday!

They are at least ten months old and they have a light on them .

Are they feeding them layer pellets and are they free choice?

Do they have a constant supply of water?

What about treats? If they are giving too many treats, it might affect their nutrition.

How many roos do they have in with them. (Stress from too much mating can cause them to lay less)

Do they have a red light or white light on them?
