I like to keep an eye around for birds coming up for sale, this is one advertisement which really troubled me. I don't know a ton about ducks, but this looks pretty crammed and I would be worried about how fast they end up in their own waste, and about some of the smaller ones getting trampled to death. In the photos you can see most of the ducklings in with the adult birds are lacking the down on their backs. What do all of you think of this situation? Does it look bad? Why do they have so many feathers missing? I'm tempted to go look at them and see what conditions they're in. They don't look at all healthy to me....

Thanks.
definitely terrible, poor babies

Oh my goodness, that is horrible! Definitely NOT OK.
I totally agree. We had a road out in the country where the chicken factory was kept and the smell was so bad that you had to make sure all of your windows in your vehicle were up because it would choke you if they were not. They were kept in tiny cages all on top of each other and it was not good at all but since they were being sent to market no one but the surrounding neighbors cared and then only because of the horrific smell. How sad.
