Do you hatch calls though? I don't remember.I know people love their safety holes,

I have had a lot of calls that internally pip and never make it to external if I don't do safety holes.
I think the trouble people get into is doing the safety holes too soon and or making the holes too big.
I guess I should have worded my original post better and I didn't see the call egg part, but my issue with safety holes isn't the safety holes themselves per se it's the recommendation of using them without proper instruction which introduces more complications. When I see recommendations to make a safety hole they often leave out that it needs to be done at the correct point of hatch, with a sterilized instrument, very carefully not to puncture the actual bird and the hole itself needs to be the appropriate size to provide air, but not be too big that it causes the membrane not to dry too quickly.Do you hatch calls though?
