My Easter Egger pullets did this all the time. I miss them perching on my shoulder, sadly i got rid of them. But my next chicken i will train to do this

Your welcome! I love my Brahmas! They are amazing layers. But brahmas dont have single combs, so maybe its a brahma mix.
