Do they sell dna tested silkie chicks?

Sexed silkies are actually $22 at MPC! :th
I'm cheap.. Would rather spend $5 on a silkie chick (Unless SQ) and just sell(Or even give away) whatever cockerels i end up with

I bet you could actually find an adult silkie hen for cheaper($20) if you spent enough time looking..
That is expensive, but I'd think it'd be worth it if most of the chicks are sexed correctly. I mean, it's about the same price for some of those "rare" breed pullet chicks..

Yeah, I agree! I got two young silkie bantam hens from Craigslist for $10 a bird. That's super cheap for an "established" silkie hen, wouldn't you say?

Well, if you need someone to pick out silkie roosters for you, I'm your girl. Out of 6 silkie chicks, I got 6 silkie roosters. I finally rehomed all of them. I still miss Elvis our original silkie rooster.

I'm not seeing anything about DNA tested chicks anywhere on MPC. I just see where they're selling 6-week-old pullets. Which, granted, are definitely pullets, and that "definitely" is the result of something to do with DNA, but that's not quite the same.

MPC is out of stock on silkie pullets. However, even if they had any, their minimum for bantams is 15 chicks! That would be $330 and I’d have to sell or rehome 14 chicks!
Lol...that ain’t happening.

Definitely expensive eggs, but I know show-quality birds can be a lot. Probably cheaper than buying show-quality chicks.

Yeah, that’s true!! But even for show quality, I don’t think I’ve ever seen eggs that high?? Idk. Unless maybe they’re a really really good breeder. But silkies aren’t a rare breed either, I’d expect that price on a super rare breed
