Do Welsummers have fluffy cheeks?

I just gave one of my hens "the warning" today! :lau Those 2 roos were actually the only ones we have harvested. I couldn't do it myself either. We are fortunate that a friend of ours shared a contact for a processor who will kill, clean & pluck the bird for $2 each. Well worth it for me!
LUCKY! $2 each is a bargain. I'll have to start looking around to see what I can find. I have three (one a buff orphington) that are pushing 4 years of age. Well past their prime laying years. I just bought 5 more chicks so I can get more eggs. Once you've had fresh its pretty much impossible to eat store bought eggs. YUCK!

The color of her screams the classical girl Easter Egger, but I have been wrong before. (At least I think I have been wrong before.)

This is a EE pullet she can lay several colors of eggs you won’t know until she lays her first egg. The egg will probably be a shade of green though. Once she lays she will always lays the same color egg from then on.

I also want to add that the slight hint of an arch in the tail feathers is common in longer tailed birds and it will become more noticeable while the tail is molting. So many folks panic unnecessarily when they see this but it's entirely normal and not associated with a gender.

FWIW, several people volunteered that this was a cockerel when I shared this photo initially. I knew better (her coloring is absolutely female) and I wasn't even asking about her gender. But, here is an example of a pullet with an arched shape to her long tail:
