Do Y'all Eat Livers, Gizzards, and Hearts?

I dont care for liver or hearts. But put a plate of gizzards out and stand back.
I save them up untill I have about a pound then fry them up and eat them all by my self. I dont even bother offering them to anyone anymore.
 
Don't have to worry about me standing back BirdBrain!! No problems with me snatching a gizzard --or the liverworst for that matter Chickflick!!! yeeeeuuuukkkk!!

How about Liver pate? Coming from Texas I have never been real impressed with the Norethern food. I find it incredibly bland. One thing I do love is that in most of the country resturants here they have a big bowl of Liver Pate and crackers. I love this stuff.
 
I love most of the German sandwich meats. So much better than the American meats. Beer wurst, and Jagdwurst und krankauer..smoked. I can't find a source around here, even tho we live close to Frankenmuth. (A Bavarian town) Have to wait till I go to Crystle Lake, Il to get my taste buds going! Mom, I'm coming home!!

chicken liver makes fantastic liver pate,
on low heat cook the onion, livers, with a dash of white wine and fresh pepper, simmer on low,
when done puree in food processor, set in small covered containers. yes pate all week!
lots of variations.


I love beef liver in the broiler, meduim rare , with asain plum sasue!
plum sauce with liver is a wonder.

white men in the artic during the age of exploration(1880s) died of vitamin deficinacy because they refused to eat organ meat, just ate steak meat. so they got scury and died.

liver and heart are high in essential vitamins.
