OK, fried them up last night with onions and bacon.

I like the livers and heartsm but will eat the gizzards. My children would never eat any liver, if they were tld it was liver. But they loved the soft fried candy I made at least once a week. Little did they know it was chicken livers. I would saute them in butter and wine with onions, garlic, bellpeppers and a little Lee &
Perins. Let them cool off and eat them like candy. When the kids come over now they always when me to make them for them. I do but they can't watch, for they still won't eat liver.

Ok, OK, you guys are turning my stomach!! Just the sound of the words....and what do livers do?? They don't sound like they would be healthy for any one. I don't like gizzards or livers or hearts!! I don't like them Sam I am....would not like them with gravy, would not like them with bacon, i would not like them any time!!

Liver feeds your blood. Good source of iron.

Livers are a good source of blood and they keep you alive by filtering your blood and being a temporary glucose storage. No worries though, because even if the liver filters, the stuff it takes out is eliminated from the body and it doesn't just stack up in it.

Now, would you like to try some liver?

Ohhhhhhhhhh, I want some right now! Yes, I love them all and whenever I roast a chicken I put them in the pan to cook and as soon as I pull that chicken out of the oven they are in my mouth! Also love the livers wrapped in bacon,,,,yummy.
