I was pretty confused too. What is the point of making it ugly and unable to see?THIS I do not agree with. Breeding an animal to the point where they suffer physically is wrong. And it IS ugly, imo. And I love my Muscovy.

EXACTLY! It's the same with dogs and cats with their faces that look like they got smushed in with a shovel, or fish that can't even close their mouths (I'm talking about the monstrosity Parrot Fish), and any other animal, just to suit our twisted sense of fancy.I was pretty confused too. Your not gonna let guineas get away are you? Those things are absolute freaks of nature and they're loud too. And the worst part is, we didn't even breed them that way that are just naturally hideous!EXACTLY! If NATURE did it to them, then... I can't really say anything.Your not gonna let guineas get away are you? Those things are absolute freaks of nature and they're loud too. And the worst part is, we didn't even breed them that way that are just naturally hideous!
Knock what? I have Muscovy?@ColtHandorf Don't knock it 'til you try it. I once thought they were ugly too. Then I got some (they were inexpensive and I needed something for Thanksgiving dinner). As soon as I heard one of the females trilling, I melted.
Then I learned their personalities, and I was hooked.
I think they mean the Dutch hookbills.Knock what? I have Muscovy?
