I'd love to see photos of your chicken coop decorated for Christmas.

I'm not going to string lights that could interfere with their roosting, but I do look forward to making a wreath for the door on the front of the coop and the door to the run.

Stockings hung outside would be really cute, especially with their names written on them, and maybe a potted pine tree with a star on top.

Do you have any Christmas plans for your chicken coop? Please share!

Well I don't decorate the coop as we live out in the middle of nowhere and no one visits, but I did make this Christmas card one year...and I made gingerbread chickens....

You have the cutest chicken coop and run!!

And your hens blend in so well I had to squint my eyes and look twice. They're adorable!!

Thanks! Kind of a dark picture, definitely hard to see the buffs in there. It’s very rare that the girls are in the run with it closed like that, and when they are, they’re not happy. They prefer to be out free ranging in the yard. I think those Christmas Lights had them hypnotized

Gosh, is that your house or your chicken coop? It's beautiful!

And I love the chicken lights hanging overhead. Did you make those yourself?

Thank you! Yes...LOL...that is our coop! My husband did such a great job building it!

To make the light, we bought the gift box at WalMart. I cut the ribbon off of all four sides (the bottom was open) and printed silhouettes of a hen and rooster. Then I printed antlers for the rooster and a Santa Hat for the hen and hot glued it all together. My husband wired it and hung it for me!
