Our first two eggs arrived on the same day, one was your typical egg although a bit small, the other had a rubbery soft shell. Not a suprise for first eggs.
After taking pictures of them in the coop where I found them, I brought them inside and arranged them on a pretty plate, then took pictures of them together on the plate, then pictures in comparison to a store bought egg ~ I then cracked each into an individual bowl - even the rubber shelled egg looked fine. Then took pictues of them in the bowls. Then scrambled both, took pictures of them cooking, pictures of them cooked and then pictures of us eating our first eggs. (see my BYC for an abbreviated pictorial)
Oh and of course I emailed them out to family members. Then I actually bored friends and coworkers with pictures of my first eggs. For awhile our first egg pictures was our screensaver!
Now am I an officially qualified for the title of BYC Nerd or what!!!!!
