Do you feel guilty taking eggs?

I feel like a dang thief, especially if they're still sitting on their egg afterward or they see me taking them.

I think I'm too emotional

I wait until they're not around to get eggs.

Think of it as trading food for food. Theirs for yours.

ya know, i dont feel near as bad since not having a rooster. When i had 'fertil' eggs, it really bothered me to take um. Not eat um..lol,, just take um. Knowing they're *blanks* its not quite so bad, but i do ALWAYS still wait, and leave them golf balls and fake eggs so they dont feel they've been robbed.

Nope. With all the goodies I give my girls, they're happy to give me their eggs.

Besides, what are they going to do with them? They won't hatch, so the most the could do is start a collection.

My chickens aren't laying yet (can't wait!), but when I collect quail eggs every day, I always tell them "Thanks, girls!"
