Today in school I was taking a test, and all I could think about was finishing and getting out so I could check on my chickens and my broody hen who was supposed to hatch her eggs yesterday!!! ([IMG]- why won't they hatch - they know I'm impatient!)
I tell people about my chickens all the time because I miss them so much when I'm away!

I've only had mine a couple of weeks but I'm hoping that the newness kinda wears off...a little! I hate to be gone for more than an hour- it kills me to be away from my chickies! I get up several times during the night to check on them- they are usually asleep but not for long because I have to hold each one before I go back to sleep....I'm obsessed!
    I love my chickens:love

Most of my chicks I can get away from for a while but my little Bounce who I had to help out of the egg is just so sweet! She cries when I'm not holding her too. I think something about hatching into my hand really imprinted me to her and vice verse. She always wants to be with me. Here's a pic of Bounce

I really cant miss mine. They share my bedroom. I have about 4 or 5 chicks the sleep on me during the night while the others are warm under the lamp. I would not mind them sleeping on me if it was not for the poo the leave on me during the night.
