Does make it sound like important egg laying decisions should be taking place in there. And I did name one of my chicks George since he hatched on George Washington's birthday. So even though GW may never have entered the Pentagon, I do have a chicken politician in residence.....

Keep the signs a coming

Since I haven't moved yet, I don't yet have a coop. But, my daughter, knowing I'm going to have chickens, gave me this for Mother's Day (a few days early).

I was planning on putting it on my coop, but it's so cute I don't know that I want to put it outside.

You can't tell its size from the picture, but it's 24" x 14".

These are ours.....

We had the "Grandma's Eggs" sign made because all of our chickens are named after our mothers/grandmothers/great grandmothers because when I first started discussing getting chickens with my DH, he said "Chickens? Why? That is such a *grandma* thing to do!" I said "Fine, I'm naming the first one Faye!" (his mom!) From then on it just took on a life of its own!

The "Girls Only" sign is because we can't have any roosters where we live!

Henrietta, I think "Pentacoop" is perfect considering the original one in Washington is full of chicken hawks.
