do you have to have a egg turner?

Hey Chickenfarmer you are right about the cheaper part, but I don't like to cook or do laundry.

My old bator has a turner. The new one, I "turn" by propping the bator in differnt directions. The eggs are in egg cartons with lids removed and holes cut in bottom for air circulation.

I don't know if they are all the same size, but Orscheln's has the LG turners on sale for $37.99 until March 14th if you have one near you. I didn't want their incubator, but it's $39.99 until the 14th.

After 3 days of looking at motors I decided to forget it and bought the LG one. Now I just have to work out what to fit it in.
