Do you like KFC?

They changed their ways of preparing chicken. They removed the salt, and they now fry in some strange oil. It is bland and tasteless.

Their mashed potatoes are horrible. They are instant, and I think they contain urea. You know where that comes from.

I have found it is better to buy fried chicken from a local cafe. It has real taste and is fried in real oil. It cost a little more, but what is the sense of spending money on something that people won't eat?

I grew up eating KFC. Every vacation we ever went on included at least one stop, getting a bucket and going back to the motel to eat it. Now, knowing what I know about nutrition, I don't eat too much fried food. I have tried the grilled KFC and while tasty, doesn't compare to the fried, which I do like.

Yep, I refuse to go there because of how their suppliers treat the birds, and they refuse to change that, so I refuse to go!

Never really liked their food anyway, to be honest.

Bantimna, I have alot of respect for you and I don't mean to start a debate, but this is a subject that is really close to my heart.

The fact is that obesity is a huge problem in the US (pardon the pun). Us americans love our fast food. Problem is, one fast food meal has about the amount of calories, if not more, than an adult needs for the entire day:

If calories aren't a problem for you, than perhaps ethics are. Mc Donalds is the largest purchaser of feedlot cattle in the world. KFC is one of the largest purchasers of commercial chicken house chickens. The treatment those poor cows and chickens receive in their short lifetimes is beyond horrible.

I refuse to contribute to it by purchasing their food, ruining my own health in the process.

I've preached to my DSD till I'm blue in the face about feeding my GS Mc Donalds chicken mc nuggets. There are 38 ingredients in a chicken mc nugget. It's 56% corn. One of the ingredients is a derivative of butane. ( http://www.rense.com/general76/chk.htm ). I'm sure KFC's nuggets aren't much better.

Yet she keeps shoveling em into the kids mouth.

The one about 8 miles from our house is my favorite, because
they have the prettiest waitress. I like setting by the window
