Do you say 'soda' or 'pop'?

My dear, loving, completly insane stepdad is driven crazy when I say "soda" when referring to that bubbly drink that comes in a can that is legal for minors to drink.
He claims that anybody who says soda wasn't raised right (WTHeck?), I say anybody who says pop can't read the container.

It very clearly says SODA. And Cream SODA.

This is an ongoing debate, what's your take on it? Soda? Pop? Soda pop? (It makes him even crazier when I say soda pop.)

Neither. I say Coke for any and all carbonated soft drinks. Actually, I drink only Diet Rite, when I can afford it. Never said soda or pop.

I used to say pop until I moved to New Jersey for 3 years. Now I say soda and drive everyone here crazy
