Do you say 'soda' or 'pop'?

In Scotland, its quite often called Ginger!!!! I or my family dont' really drink it but for a treat when the kids do get it we just call it by name, Coke, Irn Bru etc.
My dad on the other hand says 'could you get me a cana'!!!!!!

I have never callled it Soda or Pop!!

I grew up calling it Pop, but over years of military assignments began calling it Soda because it seems to be more understood everywhere. I got tired of the blank looks when I called it Pop in various places I think.

All you guys from PA saying you call it pop, must be the part of PA you are from. Here in Central PA (the actual central part of PA, not what most people call Central) it is soda. I have never heard anyone around here call it pop.

Even though I'm temporarily not living in the South, it's still Coke.

Depends on where you were raised. Here in the midwest its pop. Just like grilled cheese, toated cheese or here in the midewst its cheese toastie.

I've never heard of a cheese toastie, and I've always lived in the midwest. BTW---POP--- grew up in Michigan.
