I know a couple. Their dress styles are really different but underneath it all they're really caring people. You wouldn't expect it if you looked at them.

I WAS a Goth when I was in high school, still listen to the music: Switchblade Symphony, Nosferatu, Type O Negative, Children on Stun, The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, etc...

I write fanfiction on another website and one of the characters is a Stone Age version of a Goth and some of my faithful readers have told me I write great Goth poetry.

They are not any different really than other people that label themselves with cosmetic applications but one wonders about the choice of color they project and the stigma associated with it. Pink seems a more acceptable color. It is usually a fad of immature adolescents but I must admit some people do not outgrow it.

I have no issues with it.
