Do you think this would work?/ more of my late night questions!

OK so I feel like I need to update, but unfortunately it's not a good one. I contacted a seller of silkies, but they don't ship to where I live. There is a faint possibility I might be able to find some, but I doubt I will. So now I am left with two other options. Get some mixed breed bantams, which might be interesting to see what genetics pop up, and a slight possibility of finding brahmas. Anyways, thank you @MysteryChicken for your help, I am a little frustrated because honestly it's humiliating how little variation there is in breeds, people are only limited to white leghorns and ISA browns, it's quite unfortunate

I also think it goes without saying, any recommendations are welcome!

I would also like to add that I MIGHT have better success ordering hatching eggs, but I've never tried it so I don't know if they'll arrive safely

Is there any Landrace breeds in your country that had Silkie ancestors?

Thank you so much for helping through this whole ordeal, @MysteryChicken . Do you think I should go brahmas, or try the local bantam mixes, see what pops up and maybe even order some hatching eggs?
I don't think it would matter much on the Brahmas, or bantam mixes.

You could try hatching eggs.

I might go with bantam mixes, just because of the size, and the fact that the are more reliable when it comes to broodyness
I have also seen them adapt very very well to total free ranging
As for hatching eggs, which breeds would you say I should try?
