I have noticed my chickens snoring at night. It is more of a whistling, sighing sound. Very funny to listen to. I am glad they are secure at night because they are not quiet! LOL Do any of your chickens snore or make sounds as they sleep?

It is so funny. I have had chickens for quite awhile and never noticed the snoring! I have had the same breed too! Funny:lol:

Quote:That's probably why I have never noticed!!!! I have been watching at night to see where my ducks are sleeping. Noticed the snoring:)

Had to check to see if anyone else had heard their chickens snore. My buff orpington broodies snore when they fall asleep on their nest. It is so cute and a lot louder than I thought a sleeping chicken could be [IMG]
