do your chickkens growl?

I've heard my broodies growl before.What's so funny is when they have a frog or snake in their beak,running & growling at the same time.

Roosters do it all the time. The flock look out does it too if they see something that bothers them.

Roosters also do that high pitched screaming noise too when they want everyone to be on "high" alert.

None of mine have gone broody, YET. But they growl a warning when they see a cat come sneaking by the run, then all heads are stretched up as far as possible, and they freeze.

When they realize it's just the cat, it's back to chicken business.

MY BIRDS A FULL OF ALL SORT OF NOISES EVERY NIGHT WHEN THEY ROOST THEY MAKE THIS ALMOST FIRE WORK SOUND. ITS NEAT AND MY RIR IS VERY VOCAL, ITS ALMOST LIKE SHE TALKS TO ME. P.S I WISH I HAD A BUMPER STICKER THAT SAYS MY CHICKENS JUMP FOR CHEESE. THEY LOVE IT AND CAN HOP REAL HIGH. ITS CRAZY.
