I have one, my only drake, that is somewhere in between. If I talk nice to him and he isn't off chasing tail, he'll stand still and let me pet him. Sometimes I just can't resist and I scoop him up. He gets settled and doesn't mind...much. I've also had my females wander off to the side of the coop that's against the tree line while we're always on the other side. They let me pick them up then and carry them back to the rest of their group.

Mine are hit or miss. Wobbles used to be a little snuggle bug, but now that he's older he's a big macho drake that hates getting mama's kisses, LOL! Bean can be a sweetheart still, she likes to hop up onto wherever I'm at, whether it be on the sofa, bed or curled up in the lovesac watching movies. And I can still cuddle her close to my chest and she won't protest - most of the time, anyway. :p
BIG? well he thinks he's big, like my mini Dachshunds think they are Rottweilers.

Isn't it funny how the little ones think they're invincible and the big ones think they are lap dogs, lol

:yuckyuck      Nope I don't start mine in the  bath room although getting them to use the bathroom in the bath room would be nice,  :p     So far all my mama's have started any ducklings here except 1 that being Opie. :)    Listen if you had your face pressed against the glass, You'd probably be the first person to hear a duck actually scream.
You are hilarious.

Hahaha, chasing tail. Donald!!

A-yup, he's about as sassy as they come! Thankfully Bean is finally starting to gain enough confidence to dish it right back to him. He tried to forcefully mount her a few minutes ago and she responded by chasing him all around the room, LOL!
