[Broke chicken lady]

I have been blessed with many things in my life but patience & social life aren’t among them... so when I’m maxed out in those 2 files... I go to my happy place— my chickens! They are my Xanax. pictures of my flock!!! I have 6 total. 2 reds (2.5 months old), to black & whites (2.5 months old), 1 tan & cream (3 to 4 week old) & my favorite silver-ish feather footer (3 to 4 week old). I would like to say I’m a bad mom Bc I’m not sure what breed or gender any of them are!! (First timers here). But I love them and my hubby thinks I’m crazy beyond crazy.

Oh boy.. is he in for an adventure... that's just getting started!

Your favorite... like so many before you.. is a lovely cockerel.. porcelain d'Uccle... Your others look like Silver laced Wyandottes and some sort of red.. either production, or RIR maybe.. not thinking New Hampshire's. these teenagers all look like pullets. I can't make out your other little one (is it also bantam) well enough to take a stab at breed or gender.. but it is one of my favorite games to play.. which, thanks for having me along. That makes you not a bad parent but good company!

Oh, and before I forget.. I have made a LOT of ladders and ramps. I love your spiral staircase version!

Oh ya.. chickens are so much more than just xanax.. their gardeners, pest control, cheaper than therapy, better than going to the gym, lovely eye candy for the yard, great secret keepers, wonderful teachers. The list goes on and on to benefits of keeping chickens and far outweighs many things. The major side effect of a drug like this.. general feelings of well being, increased physical and mental health, lost hours of prolonged and unexpected amusement, an over abundance of delicious nutritious eggs.

You have a really lovely flock, and I know your hubby will reap the benefits of your craziness.

Chickens really are fun in their little stage before teens set in. But they age like fine wines... well, I don't like wine.. some maybe cheese.. or whatever makes it a relevant statement to you.

Thank u so much for feed back. I pray Britches is a gentleman. Bc my love is deep for him and really want to keep him. But will not be able to at the expense others getting beat up. My gals don’t need protection they are city gals that free range the backyard.
