Documenting Day-to-Day Duckie Development

Nothing to worry about! - If you run around in the house and the garden your legs will feel tired too and you will sit down to rest. Same with the Duckies. I would only worry when you observe that Figgy and Marmalade are always falling behind the other two and are always the ducks that sit down first to rest.
Thanks for being patient with all my questions!

Peanut was running around like crazy when I first put them out in the grass! I couldn't tell of she was terrified or just super excited! No problems there with her legs!

It's not bad for angel wing, but it would mess up the wrapping, and her balance is affected without full use of that wing.
Haha! The duckies were so dirty that I let them swim today. Not the brooder, mind you, but the actual duckies! I had to rewrap her wing afterwards. I read that wrapping and rewrapping repeatedly delays improvement, but they were... Just. So. Dirty.

Day 36 - Tuesday 3/16/21

I am not very good at this "day to day" stuff...

Clockwise from the top:
Clementine
Figgy
Marmalade
Peanut (who is, indeed, a duck and not a drake)

What are your favorite things about them so far?
I love their little quacks and silly personalities! I added a second cage so they have about 17 sq ft. One side is still lined to keep gunk off of everything. I left the other side open, and they love watching everything! They're so curious about everything.

Figgy is BY FAR the friendliest. She practically jumps into my arms when it's swimminsss time. So cute! Peanut is just a clumsy goof who seems to take great joy in nipping at her sisters' tails. Clementine is very clever and mischievous. She's the escape artist! She's also the one who seems to love swimminsss the most. Marmalade is GORGEOUS and shy. She won't eat from my hand like the others will, but there is a grace about her... even though she has the loudest QUACK! She doesn't quack often, but when she does, you know it's her talking!

And we are working on coming when called. Figgy will come no matter what, but the others really only show interest if I have peas. But it's going well!

I love them soooooooo much!!!!!

Well, there will be a time when you wish they wouldn't come running at you whenever you leave the house, for example when you are desperately trying to dig up your potato patch and some ducks literally jump on that piece of loan on your spade to pick out the worms first. Like in the video below.
Are you planning to let them roam free in your yard? - They could, they are mature enough to sleep in a house outside, destroy the flower beds and poop on your patio during the day…
