I have my new eggs in the incubator, my incubator temp was at 38 degrees but my thermometer I put inside the incubator read 34 so I put it up to 39.5 (highest it will go) and the thermometer is at 35.5 I don't know what to do the incubator isn't placed anywhere cold or exposed to draughts or anything I'm baffled!!!

The humidity is also way off!! I had it set to 50 which read 80 on my thermometer so it's now at 35 and is reading 58 on the thermometer, can anybody help?

I've covered what I can with towels and there's been no change in temperature for the last half hour :/ I might buy another thermometer to double check but my last eggs didn't hatch and I'm presuming this is why :(
Can you wrap it in towels, or a blanket while leaving the vents unobstructed?
