Does a broody leave the nest to eat and drink in Countdown (last three days)?

I see. My broody could get up if she wanted, so my situation was different. If you're able to go out periodically and check on her you could just offer her water every so often and leave the door open for a few minutes to see if she wants to come out, but I wouldn't lift her off the eggs at this point. Once the eggs hatch she'll probably need to be let out though. I think the big gross poops are normal when you have a broody b/c they're holding them in for so long while sitting on the nest. My egg hatched earlier than expected so I wasn't paying much attention to her activity in the days before. I just remember she looked so tired. I had candled her egg the night before and the next morning when I went to check on her there was a chick under her, but I didn't expect it to hatch for 2 more days.

Thank you so much dear, I appreciate your comment. I will do that hoping for the eggs to hatch without problem. Thanks again.
