I'm in Adair (dead center but towards the bottom - I guess it's only One county away from TN

) I live down at the bottom of Adair, where it meets Cumberland and Metcalfe counties.

Aren't you guys more flat over there? We have a lot of hills around here. Our weather is probably close to the same, however, when a storm moves up I65 (the usual path), it usually side swipes us and misses hitting us very badly. But if a storm hits Nashville, TN then it is usually headed our way.

We are totally flat over here. We also get severe weather almost every weekend. Plus, we are on a MAJOR fault line that is long past overdue for some rumbling. I just hope it holds out until I leave.​

That's so pretty, it doesn't look like that here. The one thing that spruced up the place was the trees, but the ice storm we had last winter pretty much took care of that.

The pics with the trees without leaves were taken in february or very early march. Usually we have leaves by end of april and early april is redbud/dogwood season - so many flowering trees around here. it is gorgeous.

I lived in Northeastern Pennsylvania for years and it gets a lot of rain, you get all 4 seasons, no natural disasters, etc. Penn State has one of the best Colleges of Agriculture in the nation.

Strange enough, it sounds like New Jersey. We have everything and I still hate living here. Too dang expensive as well. We have beautiful land and lots and lots of farms, but its still just...New Jersey.
