Does a white dot on the head always mean a rooster chick?

I got a mix of chicks. A couple have a white dot, but they are are different breeds. So are they for sure rooster chicks?

It only means it's a cockerel if the mother was barred and the father wasn't. Barred to barred or barred father to normal mother means nothing. It's just dependent on what the mix was

Barred Rock chicks all have a white spot, but the white area is larger in male chicks. The white spot is often used to confirm males in sex-linked crosses. What breeds are your chicks?
