I wouldn't touch advantix. It uses moxidectin and people have had trouble measuring an accurate dose of moxidectin on mini ponies. There have been many deaths. I wouldn't try dosing it on something even smaller using the broad ranges that exist. Maybe if I was withdrawing an exact amount based on the dogs exact weight rather than a range but I'd rather just avoid it. The safety range is too narrow and the side effects are too high. We use revolution and then use a spray when taking them hiking. Same as putting bug spray on people every time you go out. We also got them vaccinated against lyme disease.

If you like the capstan, try comforts. Also, consider using Sentenial. It is a novartis product which contains heart worm prevention and flea birth control. MIT will prevent those Nast fleas from laying their flea eggs to hatch into more fleas. The adult flea we see jumping around is only 5% of the entire flea population. Also consider treating your yard.
