once again, LOL
Sylvan Heights.
If you want this rare and off the wall stuff, you almost always have to go threw them. They have every type of waterfowl kept in captivity

You're gonna need to keep sylvan on speed dial!!

Hey there guys
Hey Destinduck

I feed my pygmy geese on duck weed, mixed grains, Epol laying pellets and a locally produced floating pellet.
I find that they enjoy the floating pellets and mixed grains the most.

Mine breed very well each year and start to lay around December - January, but the breeding time in the U.S will differ

My females prefer natural hollowed out logs to nest in. They have never used the other plane wooden nest boxes.

I always let the parents raise the gosling's.
I use duckling floating and starter crumbles for the babies.

They breed very well flighted in aviaries, but there is an other breeder that I know in SA that breeds them very well pinioned.

I will put some pics of some of my birds up

Helpful info is great how do you feed them is what im wondering how do they eat everything besides the floating pellets how is that presented to them

Do you know if anyone has them here or mainly sylvan as well ive never heard much about them except i treasue all treeducks and what are they like

Toejam i think she is interested in pygmy geese as well i believe not 100 percdnt sure but some pretty rare ones

The mixed grain and laying pellet are placed in bowls for them close to the waters edge.
The duck weed is just floating on the pond.

They are very placid birds, the males just get aggressive when it comes to breeding time
I keep my pairs in separate aviaries so they don't fight with each other.
I keep other smaller ducks with them like Hottentot teals.

They vocalize and display a lot witch makes them fun to watch:D
Mine have become quite tame
