I thought you could buy hanging waterers but I haven't found any.One is listed as hanging, but it's actually a handle for transporting.
Do you hand waterers?

Oh good grief! That close, huh? I was looking at the suppliers. Thanks!
Do you hang your water?

I use 3 gallon heated waterers that hang. They work great. It's been down to 8 degrees a couple of nights and I haven't had any problems at all. Having the waterer hang keeps it cleaner plus it's above the snow. The best price I've found is from www.cutlersupply.com $34.90

Thanks Lea,
so you just hang it by the handle?
I'm getting quite an education.I had to google TSC ! then went DUH!

Some of mine are hung (in the coop that is on a slope - have to hang em) but the big one - 5 gallon - is on a concrete block/stepping stone.

I prefer to hang them, keeps them cleaner.

I wish that I could hang mine, but I can't unless I was to do it in the coop its self. I would rather it not be in there though. I tried building a little wooden fixture to hang it on in the field, and the idea was great, but it turned into a perch for the chickens and the water was worse then it was before because of the amount of "poo" that made it down.
