I got them from tractor supply. The labels were not on the bins but the employee told me she was sure they were dual purpose...thatās all I know. They are several weeks old, strong, healthy & hilarious I just canāt tell what breed they are...nothing Iāve had before (Orpingtons & Easter Eggers).Where did you get the chicks from?
Thank you!!Hard to tell, but if they're "pure" then one Red Sexlink and two Production Reds
Haha, that's why I put the quotes. I should have probably clarified hatchery bird or desired mix, but I tried to make it less confusing 100% agree that both named strains are not pure!I'd after to agree with @Deana Ward , even if I don't like the word 'pure'. LOL Since production Reds are a mix, and red sex links are a complete cross. LOL But I get what she was going for.
Jeez, I did tag the wrong person this morning to agree with. Musta needed more coffee. LOLHaha, that's why I put the quotes. I should have probably clarified hatchery bird or desired mix, but I tried to make it less confusing 100% agree that both named strains are not pure!
