Does anyone else get frustrated at shows like "Animal Cops"

One episode that really teed me off was when they took in a mother dog with FAT, HEALTHY pups and pulled them away from the mother to bottle raise because she came in with ticks and fleas. The puppies all died, because the "volunteers" didn't know jack about raising orphan puppies. I was LIVID over that episode and quit watching. They were just mutt shepherd mix pupiies, but STIL!!!!!!!!!

What really makes me angry when I'm watching that is when someone does something terrible to any animal and they get 30 days in jail and maybe a 500 dollar fine.
I like animals waaaaaaaaaay more than I like people so this really bothers me.
(Except for all you fine people, I like you all, very much!)
I have never seen an episode where chickens are involved...that is ridiculous though.
I see many photos on here where birds have leg bands and the like.
It's not an uncommon thing, especially when you have multiple pens with many birds or many of the same breed!

I used to want to be an "animal cop" but I knew I wouldn't be able to contain my rage against stupid people and I know I'd want to take every poor critter home.

I do agree the intervention issues have gotten way out of hand on both sides of this coin. If you have this private agency with their left wing agenda and then give them Gov't cop's it's never gonna end up good.

Locals LIO handle it here. They charge the ones who need it but 99% of calls are nothing.

Someone saw my brother out with a horse having seizure an called on him. Sheriff him self came out an tried to buy one of his horses.

I also heard a call the other day where someone said some horses were being starved. Cop later radioed dispatch " Saw 3 fat horses in a pasture, asked them if they were hungry. Negative response.... 10-8"

I know. I remember watching one show where they took puppies from their momma because they "believed " they were a puppy mill. Of course the perfectly healthy puppy caught parvo after being at the disease ridden shelter and died, and the show made the death of the puppy the breeder's fault. Not their's for taking a 4 week puppy with no immunity to a disease ridden shelter. Makes me so mad!

The animal cop episodes that I have seen are of the latino guy in florida. So far he has done everything legitimately.

The level of ignorance on that show appalls me. Fighting roosters? Really? Looked like someone raising pet or show birds to me. I doubt that cockers put wing bands on their birds.

The guy in Detroit who thought a domestic cat was actually a feline sounded about par for the course for some of the sanctimonious, self-righteous animal "police."

Over in Manteca a dairy outfit had to call the sheriff to deal with "animal rescuers" who trying to cownap the herd. It seems they had noticed the cows standing in the muck outside the milking parlor, day after day. The idiots thought it was cruel to make the cattle stand in mud (getting rid of the mud is hard because they all want to be as close to the entrance as possible) and that the farmer should pave the area. They didn't even know that you don't pave areas where cattle, horses, etc. tend to stand because they can fall and die from the internal injuries if they wind up doing the splits. The sheriff cited the "rescuers" for trespassing, although letting them try to load a cow or two might have been more effective. Ever tried to load just a cow or four into a stock trailer right before milking? Between not wanting to leave the herd and the desire to be milked, Bossy can be really bossy.

Yes make me mad to watch........they kill those rooster because they havew been trained to fight.......bull never trained...they are rooster that fight like all rooster will, just the breed ,will keep fighting to the death....and all could be giving a home , even with a flock with other rooster ,just not game roosters.......plus game rooster are show stock.

I like the one were the woman told the horse owner would you drink that water..was a little green(which we know can happen in a couple days) the guy grab a hand full and drunk it.....they still was going to take his horse ,why because it had green stuff in the water tank.
