Because I am very interested but I am not sure where to start in terms of organizing people in the area.

Your request is vague, however I presume you mean to change ordinances to accommodate BYC success. This is an ongoing battle between you the BYC steward and the beaurocrats who are being pandered by Tyson, Pilgrim's Pride and other huge poultry producers. The battle here is on the wrong fronts. Getting ordinances changed is not impossible as much as many are impassable we must all regroup, reconnoiter, and reenact measures that prove more successful ( reenact is a key word here.) We must take the battle to them whereas in the past they ( beaurocrats) have taken the battle to us ..visits, seizure, fines and assessments. That must change. We cannot get clean water from a filthy cistern. So 1st off, know your enemy. It is the huge poultry industry that bullies the farmer- by-contract, who was lured into a trap that ensures lifetime debt..debt causes obedient slaves. Working together with enlightened poultry stewards ( become one your self) all across the country empowers us all to stand up against asinine tyrants, who fail to view equal rights not registered on their morning reports. Begin by forming your own local event group, get educated. Know the tactics of your opponents and margin your own. Then educate your neighbors and fellow "stewards".
