Does anyone else make homemade dog biscuits?

As much as the dogs like the taste, garlic and onion are toxic to them. Usually just causes a general malaise, in some cases vomiting.
I like to add some mint leaves to the biscuit mixture, kinda helps with the "doggie breath".

I have about a dozen recipes, I just googled homemade dog cookies and have been making them over 4 years now. i even have a pup safe birthday cake recipe. Most of mine use baby food for the flavor. It adds the flavor and keeps the dough easy to roll out with the meat being pureed.
My favorite one to make is 2 part "jelly roll" style with 1 part peanut butter and the second part molasses. Pretty and they love em!

My dog loves these

1 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup margarine
1 cup boiling water
3/4 cup cornmeal
2 teaspoons white sugar
2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
1/2 cup milk
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 egg, beaten
3 cups whole wheat flour

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, margarine, and boiling water. Let stand 10 minutes. Grease cookie sheets.
2. Thoroughly stir in cornmeal, sugar, bouillon, milk, Cheddar cheese, and egg. Mix in flour, 1 cup at a time, until a stiff dough has formed.
3. You can roll the dough out and use cookie cutters, or you can make little flattened balls.
4. Bake 35 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown.

I use the peanut butter and wheat germ recipe. its not to rich and the wheat germ keeps the fleas away.
and our german shepard never had fleas.
never wore a flea collar or ?? I kid you not.
