Miss SallyF, I have to agree with your husband on the cornbread! It is really funny about my family, father was from the south, mother from the midwest.....No cornbread at my mom's family, cornbread with black eye peas, cabbage every New Years day ~ my dad!! And I love sorgum syrup (not sure that is the proper spelling). Went on a trip with my best friend, had to buy a quart. Love it with hot biscuits and butter!!
