I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to get some soon!
chickytocks- My SLW started at 21.5 weeks- are those crosses you have usually late layers or is that normal?

Here's pics of my first 2 weeks of my EE's eggs. They started laying in their 20 th week. Not all are laying yet. I have several green layers, one pinkish and one that lays a blueish-green.

Wow Beautiful eggs coberdor! They look pale aqua and pink in the photo- is that a white one in the front left?

My hen Cleopatra started laying 2 days shy of 4 months old! I was just shocked to see an egg in the run, and didn't even have a nest box ready. She has been laying well ever since. The others (EE and speckled sussex) started before 20 weeks, but I can't remember exactly when.

No, the one in the left front was a very pale green. Yes, the others are an aqua color and pink. Some of my green eggs are a light olive green color. No white ones, just the light pink.

Aren't they beautiful!

Oh you early EE laying people are killing me here- LOL!
I still only have the one SLW laying( started at 21.5 wks) - they are all 24 wks now- all the EE's are just slacking- they are huge and have bright red combs, have been going into the nests for weeks practicing and even practicing the egg song but nothing...nada...zilch!

I was hoping the SLW laying would get them started but it hasn't even inspired the GLW to lay and she's the same age- but seemed less developed than the silver- her comb and wattles are still more pale so I think she's still not ready but those EE's sure look ready! I can hardly wait to see their eggs.

Congrats on the blue egg!! I was hoping my third EE would be blue, but I think she's pinkish like another (I have 3 RIR & 3 EEs & have never gotten 6 in a day, so not sure that she's laying yet). I do have an olive green layer though. Fun colors!
