Does anyone have only ONE breed?

Just wondering if anyone only has one or even 2 breeds of chicken? Seems like most people have as many different breeds as they have space for. (Not "judging", I am all about everyone doing what THEY want to do!) I'm just curious is all.

We have lots of breeds, Brahmas, Legshanes, Orpingingons, Whyandottes, and ISA browns...so no not really.

If people have flocks for breeding then yes - very often - so that they don't have to have separate spaces.

Also if people are homesteading one breed makes it easier to cull at dinnertime because no one has a name or identity.

kinda? all my chickens are a barnyard mix of Orpington and American game, except for my 2 American game hens that started the flock.

I do plan to buy an egg laying breed this year though

I have seen breeders that, more often than not. have several breeds too.
