Does anyone know why my chicken is loosing its feathers?

We just noticed yesterday that one of our chickens is missing a lot of feathers around its neck and chest. Does anyone know why this is happening to only her? We have 5 chickens total and they have a pretty good sized run area. She is around a year and a half old. Thanks for your help.

Thank you. We have another chicken the same breed and was born the same time from the same breeeder but she seems fine and full of feathers. Is it possible for two of the exact same chickens to molt at different times?

Yes, they molt at their own pace, some molt fast and heavy, some slow and light. My light brahma is molting right now, but most of the time my birds don't start till around September
