Does anyone use Flock Blocks?

I picked up a 25 LB Flock Block, just wondering if anyone uses one or has used one and if so how did you use it Thanks.

Any way you want- you can put it on clean ground or for more fun hang it where it won't get wet- I love them.

Is this something Id hang from a tree outside? I would have to take it in so other animals don't eat it.

I looked at them, but they seemed to have lots of grain in them, and I like to encouorage them to eat the layer pellets.

yes you'd want to put it where only chooks (chickens) can get it.

They are a treat, I use the smaller 10# one.

I used them over the winter when we were out of town for the holidays. We wanted them to have something extra to do while they were cooped up more than usual. I liked using them for that purpose.

I got a 25 Lbs for like ten bucks, I think Purina makes it.

I have one and my chickens love it! I just threw it on the floor of the coop for when they are not allowed to go out and free range keeps them busy and will be keeping one fully stocked over the winter!

my chickens love flock block! I just put it in a plastic dishpan out in the chicken yard/run where it won't get rained on.
