Does coronavirus affect chickens!?!?

The president wants to keep "the numbers low" which is why only about 6,000 in the whole country have been tested. This isn't a hoax, it's a new virus that we don't have vaccines or medicine for. It has spread here and is killing people. Why is it a hoax?
I checked this morning and 119 of the 193 countries have confirmed cases.
Italy is virtually completely isolated.
New Rochelle New York is being surrounded by the National Guard preventing anyone from going in or out. Has anyone seen the movie 'Outbreak"?
Video of Seattle looks like a ghost town. No one on the streets or in bars and restaurants.
We had our first confirmed case here of a woman returning from college in Italy. Her entire family was ordered to self quarantine but her father and sister decided to go to the younger daughter's father - daughter dance at an exclusive private all girl's school - Villa Duschesne. Now the school has been closed.
This site has been great for real time information.

It's not a new virus. Its a new strain. And it isnt killing people. It's the complications of the illness that are killing people. This is just a distraction to keep us from focusing on other things like the economy going down. Perhaps this video will give you some incite into what is really happening
Just consider the numbers and how they add up. Approximately 7,452 people die every day in the United States. By the WHO's own definition of a "pandemic"...DEATH is a pandemic. The WHO redefined the word in 2009:
http://www.virology.ws/2009/05/23/who-will-redefine-pandemic/So it applies to every strain of the flu, cold, etc. In addition here is some reading in regards to those definitions:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vo...us-covid19-pandemic-world-health-organizationAs the weather starts to become warmer the virus WILL die. It can not survive in warm weather conditions. This has been said by the CDC of other coronaviruses and doctors at Harvard. Should you wash your hands? Absolutely. You should be doing that ANYWAY. Should you monitor your health? Yes...but again...YOU SHOULD BE DOING THAT ANYWAY. You should refrain from working around people when you are sick as well. It's a no brainer. If you are just considerate of others, cough into your sleeve and not your hand and simply wash your hands you have nothing to worry about. So why is it spreading so "rampantly"? It's not. They are just testing more people now so the numbers are going up. It doesnt mean it's spreading that fast. It means those people already had it or just got it. The media has been known to fudge the numbers. It's spooky language.

It must be more fun to believe conspiracies, I guess. *shrug*
By defintion it's not a "conspiracy theory". Being mislead isn't unlawful or harmful. I'm just a realist and I'm aware. You can not believe everything you read. You must do your research, be diligent and pay attention. I am merely trying to help relieve people's concerns and worrys about this so called "DeAdLy ViRuS". There is far more to be worried about.

It depends on your age and overall heath. If you are young and no other heath issue, it most likely just like a very bad flu. But it’s extremely fatal for older or sick people. It also depends on if there’s enough medical resources. It seems like about 20% people will need to be hospitalized for oxygen or other support. Without medical treatment, the death rate can be over 10%. With enough medical resources, it seems between 1%~2%. The average is 3.4% according to WHO. Btw, the death rate of normal flu is about 0.1%. Flu is also caused by Coronavirus, but a different type.
It’s not that bad. Near to where I live in a province that is affected of the Netherlands / Europe they tested hospital personal who came to work. About 6% was infected without knowing because they had very light symptoms. Even milder than an ordinary cold.

But its true that its dangerous for old and weak people. The people who died here where like 80+ or already had a lung disease.

I do believe so. If you just look at the numbers this is not a pandemic. More people die in africa from ebola than the amount of coronavirus cases that have been reported.
The problem with this new virus is that there are not enough means in the hospitals to help people with respiratory problems if it gets out of control. There is not enough medical staff because they get sick too. This covid-19 is very contagious.
This happened in part of China, Iran, in the North of Italy. A hospital doctor from Milano told it is as if you have to work in war zone or helping after an Earthquake*. It’s chaotic and they have to make choices on life and dead because its gotten out of control.

People who need medical care for other health problems can not go to hospital for the usual care. If someone needs intensive care after an accident there will be no possibilities for the right treatment.

The economy went down so fast because of the virus.
