Does lonely duck need a friend?

So I was looking on craigslist and found someone near me who needs somewhere to winter their pair of Pekins (1 drake and 1 duck). This would be an immediate solution to Bonnie's lonliness, but does anyone see a problem bringing in a male and female to the coop of chickens and Bonnie? I guess the pair is very friendly and calm. I was really planning on just getting Bonnie a girlfriend. Perhaps Bonnie could have these as winter friends while I get a duckling or two for her in the spring. Then when these winter ducks leave in the spring, Bonnie will have her new duckling (bigger by that time) friend/s. Do you think this would be too much of an adjustment for Bonnie? Too many new roommates?
Thanks!

Ok, thank you both... I'll keep searching for Bonnie's new friend...

One of our two Pekin ducks (Clyde, a female) was killed by a hawk. Since day-old ducklings, they have been raised with 8 chicks. They are all cooped together. This is my question... Bonnie (the now lonely Pekin duck) comes out of the coop in the morning looking for Clyde. It's so sad. :'( Does Bonnie need another duck to be happy? She is still with the chickens so she's not completely alone, but perhaps lonely... Bonnie with Clyde were like two peas in a pod spending much of the time together. Should we get Bonnie a friend? It's been about 4 days... Will her little duck brain forget Clyde in a few more days? Maybe we should wait until early Spring and get a couple ducks/chickens at the same time and raise together in the brooder and then transition to the coop? I know I can't just put her with ducklings immediately.
Thanks so much!
Sorry for your loss, I do believe a buddy would be good for Bonnie. Before our coop was finished, (halfway), my daughter brought home a Rouen, "Cashew", then we got the chickens, no other ducks available at the farm except full grown. Cashew was only 2 weeks old when we got the chicks. We found a co op locally and they happened to have ducks. We picked up a 1year old pekin. Ohhh my she quacked the whole way home. Now Cashew has a friend, however since he has only known chickens ( 1 day old when we got him) and kinda clucks more than quacks, Miss Opal really through him for a loop. He just looked at her, like what in the world is that!!! Very funny. Once she got into the pond, he kinda got a clue. Doing great together. Since the pond is shallow, we filled up the bathtub and let them dive and swim together. Plus poor Miss Opal was very dirty. You might check around to find a buddy of about the same age.
