Does my chicken love me?

I hope they do! One my hens has become quite friendly. I like to kneel by them and talk to them and they all hang around me. One of them has started walking behind me and pecking at my clothing.

Yesterday, I was kneeling down rinsing out the dog water bowl. She came behind me and jumped on my back. It was so cute! Wish I could have taken a picture somehow. She also gently pecked at my hair.

Be careful she doesn't gently peck your eye. It happens. They don't mean to hurt you but eyeballs are interesting...

She does like to get really close to my face, but I do keep my eyes out of the danger zone.

Don't wear sparkly earrings around them either. My favorite chicken has gotten really close to eating my favorite pair of earrings before. She pecked one out and luckily it fell on the ground before she swallowed it.
