does she look close to laying?

sorry the picture is sort of crappy since its a webcam but i think the comb shows she is since it flopped over overnight shes squatting how long do you think it will be before she lays her age is 23 weeks and 4 days and is a white leghorn. this is the best picture i have of her ive never had this breed before i would really like to put my egg sign up soon and the sooner i know the better thanks in advance

You could be getting pullet eggs any day. Or it could be another month. I got my first egg last saturday at 4 1/2 months. I've gotten one tiny egg since but i have 10 hens. This was about a month earlier than i had expected. Just be patient and the eggs will come. Good Luck
 
My birds start the fast-loud clucking about a week or two before they lay- this is a good sign. They also spend time inspecting the nest boxes.

Reach down to pet her...if she squats for you then she will be laying any day from what my hens did. They all layed about a week after the started squatting

ya she is squatting alot i even pick her up and she is still in that position same with the others but shes been squatting almost a weeks
