Does the neighbor count as a pest?

Well, I'll come tresspass on YOUR property, LOL. I would not really care about consent to take pics on my own property. Oops, he wasn't supposed to be in those pics!

Bless you for being a good citizen, I'm not that good, LOL.

It is absolutely legal for video surveillance of one's property regardless of state (In US). Most of the consent laws are in regards to wiretapping. Most of the illegal means of recording are in areas where one is expected to have privacy (aka bathrooms, motels etc.)

My Son was reading this over my shoulder and had a terribly evil response !

Find a Kid somewhere who smokes pot and buy all the seeds from them.

Throw them into the neighbors yard---

wait a few months till you see plants, and call the cops!

Now MY thoughts run the same lines as what has been said--
#1-- Photo's and Decibel meter info to take to court
#2--MOST places you have a right to copies of any/all complaints filed against you with animal control. GET THEM!!! Use them in court to show harassment.
#3-- "No trespassing" and "Smile- you are on camera" signs
#4-- Get the support of your other neighbors
#5--when he tries being "chummy" outside, let him know you have NO intention of being neighborly with a 2-faced backstabber.
#6-- Get an attorney. Call your local Legal-Aid office for help. Use the info from #1, 2 & 4 to help you file a harassment and trespassing complaint... you could also consider calling it "stalking" if he is watching you.

ugh. thats just horrible! i only have two neighbors, one next to us and the other behind us, and they are both WONDERFUL people. they sit outside and watch our ducks play! the ducks even go over to the town's land and swim in their pond and stuff, and the town says they are so happy they are there because they add some nice color! people stop while driving and watch our ducks, and normally come up to us and tell us how cute they are. no one has ever complained. we were afraid the town wouldn't be happy with domestic pekins in their pond, but they just love them! ever since we got the ducks, they have been paying more attention to the pond and have been cleaning it up. our ducks are miracle workers on everyone that looks at them! i'm so sorry about your neighbor. that must really be horrible. man, that would just drive me insane. i'd tell him to f it, that i had payed for the land and it was mine, not his. but thats just me! haha. good luck!

I posted NO TRESSPASSING VILOLATORS WILL BE PROSECTUED signs in all four corners of our yard. They asked why I said "Someone has been coming here stealing my feed"

They looked at me with disbelief..

Little did they know the nieghbors across the street had been telling me what they were doing! I love elderly people that have nothing to do. They are great to have watch your house and fun to talk to!! And also full of valuable information!

I think he poisoned my dogs. He keeps calling animal control with different complaints. I think they finaly told him I was compliant and two weeks later my dogs have been poisoned. We got a puppy from the pound a three weeks ago and it was very sick. It was so sick that it couldn't get a big enough breath of air to bark. We gave it lots of meds and love and nursed it back to health. Then yesterday he started throwing up so I was going to take him to the animal hospital but then he stopped throwing up so I thought he'd be okay. Then this morning he was dead. Around ten this morning our other dog started looking sick so I took her in to the animal hospital. They drew some blood and the vet immediately came out and asked if the dog got into rat poison. He said all the signs point to rat poison. He thought if her platelets hadn't been so low he would have thought something else but since her platelets were low combined with all the other symptoms then he really was thinking poison. It never accured to me that the neighbor would poison the dog until on the way home a freind called to check on the dog and I mentioned the rat poison and that I didn't know where they would get into rat poison. Her response was something like I can't beleive he poisoned your dog and then it dawned on me that he could have done this. My husband is in the navy and not here right now which is a good thing because the dogs are his and he really loves them. Now he's gonna come home to find out that they have been poisoned and one has died. I think I need to move so they don't find the neighbor dead from rat poisoning one day.

Oh my Lord, I just can't read stuff like this anymore. It makes me ill to think of a sicko poisoning someone's animals that way. To me, that means he is dangerous and you need to report your suspiscions to the police.
