Does this comb look like it has been injured in a fight or is it something else?

My 21 week old roo's comb has these black marks on it.



Do they look like fight injuries? I noticed them the same day I saw him tusseling with one of my Bourbon Red turkeys. I have also noticed that he tends to wheeze after exertion (ie. chasing hens around and around the run), but I noticed that before these marks appeared.

He's a mean guy soon to be destined for the soup pot, but I don't want him to give something contagious to my girls before I dispatch him.

Yes, those are from being pecked on the comb. Those are scabs and will heal without any intervention.
