Does this hen look normal?

Right now I have dried mealworms as a treat and scratch grain.
Mealworms are great though. Fatty and high in protein. I would just sprinkle that every day. First thing I want to clarify is. How old is your flock? Chickens dont begin molting until already one year old.

Watermelons and veggies. Grain produces heat just like how fat is stored energy. Mainly for hot summers. If your summers are mild, theres no need to worry.
I only buy one 50lb bag of grain a year for 25 chickens. Mostly for growing fodder.

There is an article explaining how scratch grains actually REDUCE their proteins. Bottom line, I'm going to reduce my scratch grains to one Tbsp per bird per day, and add mealworms instead to increase their protein intake. My birdies wil looooove meee, lol!

I’m from NJ so the heat varies, some days like the past couple have been in the upper 90s while other days are 70s and sometimes rain
