Does this hen look normal?

After all this, that’s what i’m thinking too so my hens now don’t get any disease i do not know about. What age do you start the deworming?
I don't deworm on a regular basis, some do, but I find it unnecessary and possibly even quite harmful. I have only ever dewormed once, and that was for tapes. Deworming on a regular basis allows the worms to become resistant to the wormer, which is not good.

I think i’m going to do twice a year like cherrynberry is doing. once in the winter, once in the summer

Most commonly, my hens get roundworms and the thing about most worms is that they dont show up in their poop unless they have been there for awhile. Thats why I deworm yearly to be safe. If a hen has a huge infestation she could die.

I’m from NJ so the heat varies, some days like the past couple have been in the upper 90s while other days are 70s and sometimes rain
I am in NJ - I give them kitchen scraps like tomatoes, cucumbers and veggies also bits of melon or water melon.
When it gets really hot as it is now in NJ I freeze it all in yoghurt or kefir and give it to them as a block. It takes them longer to eat it (which is good as my chickens are real pigs!) and it is also cooling. They love it and all crowd around pecking at the block of frozen goodies!

I’m going to try that, thank you!
