My poor ladies were terrorized yesterday. We live in Central Washington and have a creek going through the backyard. I'm assuming this was a raccoon
but welcome others thoughts. We've never had a kill in the warmer weather so I didn't close up the hen house as tight as I could have. Last night it was closed up tight and there was no problem.
We have seen a hawk or two but I don't know that their kill would look like this, or if a juvenile would have been completely carried off if it were a predator bird?
